Every Farm has a Story!

Like all great ideas, PahadSe Organics began in our family orchard, Singh Apple Orchards, located in the small village of Bagi in Chhuwara Block, District Shimla, Himachal Pradesh. Founded about ten years ago by two passionate brothers, Jatinder Singh (Jittu Chauhan) and Joginder Singh (Jiggi Chauhan), what started as conventional family orchards gradually transformed into sprawling organic apple orchards.

Driven by their commitment, the brothers immersed themselves in the daily work of the orchards, leading to valuable lessons that shaped our philosophy. Our motto, “Orchards First,” emphasizes the importance of maintaining healthy orchards as the foundation of our success. We believe that the only way to foster a chemical-free revolution in our state and country is through an all-inclusive model.

We also learned that food is only as good as it is grown, which is why we strictly adhere to a ZERO chemical policy in our orchards. This commitment to purity and quality extends to our processed products, ensuring that every jar and bottle reflects our dedication to doing right—even when no one is looking. Experience the exceptional taste and health benefits of our organic apple, plum, and apricot products, crafted with integrity at PahadSe Organics.

Organic Farming

Our Plants Were dying so the number of plants in orchards was decreasing yearly.

2013

We soon recognized the detrimental effects of chemical-based farming on our soil, which resulted in a decline in both the production and quality of our orchard’s output. Our plants were struggling, and the number of trees in our orchards was decreasing each year.

Moreover, we became increasingly aware of the impact of chemicals on the health of our workers, who were responsible for spraying pesticides and applying chemical fertilizers. This concern extended to the farmers and consumers of food grown in these chemically laden farmlands. As a result, we made a conscious decision to transition from pesticide-driven farming to sustainable practices, incorporating bio-fertilizers, Jeevamrit, cow dung, and other natural alternatives.

This gradual evolution led to the transformation of our farm produce into organically grown fruits, including apples, plums, and apricots. Our commitment to chemical-free farming not only enhances the quality of our raw ingredients but also ensures that our processed products reflect the true essence of nature. At PahadSe Organics, we take pride in delivering healthy, flavorful options that are safe for both consumers and the environment.

High Density Orchard

First High Density Apple Orchard In Our District

2014

As pioneers in our region, we were the first farmers to introduce innovative practices such as High-Density Apple Farming, organic farming, and drip irrigation. Our commitment to advancing agricultural techniques has set us apart and allowed us to produce high-quality fruits sustainably.

We proudly named our orchard "Singh Apple Orchards" after our surname, reflecting our dedication to our family's legacy and our deep roots in the community. This foundation of innovation and tradition informs every aspect of PahadSe Organics, from our organically grown apples, plums, and apricots to the exceptional processed products we create. By merging modern practices with a commitment to quality, we ensure that every jar and bottle embodies the essence of our pioneering spirit.

Bagi To Bangalore

First Order Of 320 Kg Apples From Bangalore at a price of 150/Kg.

2016

We achieved a significant milestone when we received our first order of 320 kg of apples from Bangalore at a competitive price of ₹150 per kg. This order was delivered within an impressive 48 hours, which included harvesting, packaging, and transport to Chandigarh before being airlifted to Bangalore. This marked the fastest delivery of apples in our area, showcasing our commitment to quality and efficiency.

That same year, we also launched our annual Organic Farm Fest, an event dedicated to promoting organic farming practices and innovative orchard techniques among farmers in Himachal Pradesh and neighboring states. Over 100 farmers participated in this event, where they were inspired to adopt the new techniques we shared. This initiative not only reinforced our commitment to sustainable agriculture but also highlighted our passion for empowering fellow farmers and enhancing the quality of produce in our community.

At PahadSe Organics, we carry this spirit of innovation and collaboration into our processed products, ensuring that every item we offer embodies the same dedication to quality and sustainable practices that drive our orchard’s success.

Singh Apple Orchards

We changed 50% of the orchards to HDP orchards and started renovating Old orchards also.

2017

As we grew, we recognized the need to expand our orchards beyond the limited land inherited from our ancestors. We transformed 50% of our existing orchards into High-Density Planting (HDP) orchards and undertook the renovation of older trees to enhance productivity.

In addition to our own orchards, we secured leased land to cultivate new apple orchards and herbs, diversifying our offerings. Within a year, we established connections with numerous organic vendors in major metro cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bangalore, and Chennai, enabling us to expand our shipping capabilities to these markets. As demand for our products increased daily, so did our productivity.

That same year, we proudly launched our processing unit, introducing our first product, apple cider vinegar. This marked a significant milestone in our journey, allowing us to offer high-quality, organic processed products that reflect our commitment to sustainability and excellence. At PahadSe Organics, we continue to innovate and grow, ensuring that every product we create embodies the essence of our hard work and dedication.

In 2020, while the COVID pandemic halted many activities, we remained resilient and organized our Farm Fest online via WebX, attracting over 800 farmers. The event was graced by our chief guest, His Excellency Acharya Devbrat, along with experts from the horticulture sector, who shared their insights on apple farming. This virtual gathering provided motivation and introduced natural farming practices to participating farmers, fostering a sense of community and learning during challenging times.

That same year, we significantly expanded our range of processed products, launching 14 new offerings by December, including juice, jam, chutney, apple candy, and apple pickle. As our product range diversified to include not only apples but also apricots, cherries, persimmons, plums, prunes, and walnuts, we recognized the need to evolve our brand identity.

Deeply connected to the mountains where we were born and raised, we chose the name "Paradise" to reflect our roots. During my college years in Pune, my friends affectionately called me "Pahadi," which inspired the seed of "PahadSe." This name pays homage to our beginnings on the foothills of the Himalayas at "Singh Apple Orchards." Since we are committed to growing organic and natural crops, we added "Organics" to our brand, resulting in "PahadSe Organics." It took us two years to fully transition from Singh Apple Orchards to the PahadSe brand, and we are proud to share the essence of our journey through our processed products.
